It's laundry day today (Week 2)

Hello everyone!
It's another new post.
We just dumped our clothes in the washer so we're waiting for them aaaand, here we are.

We can't remember in chronological order what we did but here are the things that we saw, ate, felt was pretty cool in Chuncheon. They're interesting.

First, we ate Korea's favourite: Fried Chicken.
Can you smell the chicken?

We ate (normal) Fried Chicken and Sweet Spicy Chicken. It came with a bowl of white pickled raddish (the bowl of white thing in the middle >). It came with 1 bottle of coke and 1 salt and 1 spicy sauce condiment.

The two gigantic plates of Chicken costs 22,000Won (SGD$27.15). Expensive aye. But we figured it was alright once in a while. It's chicken after all.

< Here's what they have in the store!
It's just located outside of our school so it's really convenient.

hi birdy
Look at this Korean bird. It looks pretty much normal but Liang Jing said it had a blue-ish tail. We noticed two of these kind of birds hopping around the field. They are bigger than our usual birds.

Anyway, we were sitting on the bench (beneath a small hut house) and were looking around the school field when we suddenly decided to raise our head to look at the roof. That was when, we saw this. We believe it brings good luck. As the hut is just beside the field, it probably brought good luck to the players who are about to have a match. We have yet to ask why they have this symbolic item but we will find out next Tuesday.

deng deng, our Psychology class

This is their eye check up chart
We went to take our chest x-ray at a hospital and met up with a Japanese. Ohmygod.
Anyway, the X-ray was quicker than we had expected.
Deng deng, we found this chart (above). It was really interesting. We've only ever seen these kind of charts in Japanese animations but we were not expecting to see one in real life. It's an eye check up chart. Our buddy told us that they had to point in the direction of the gap. It was really awkward. Can you even see the last row?????????????

Look at their awkward computers HAHA
In our dorm, we have a computer room with a printer inside, just beside the laundry room. It's free access to everyone in the dorm.

< Here's the cafeteria food that we tried to order. As per usual, we were randomly matching the Korean words and jabbing on the touch screen.

This is a chocolate marshmallow cake. It tastes like twiggies in Singapore.
Bonus: it's cute.

Singapore's packet drink can never beat this PACKET drink
The true meaning of packet drink is in Korea where it's literally shaped like a packet. You're actually supposed to purchase a cup of ice and pour the contents in but we ended up just drinking it directly from the packet. No difference if you leave it in the fridge for awhile. It costs 1500Won (SGD$2).

browning maple leaves
We took this photo after class when we were going back to our dorm. Isn't it beautiful?
We can't wait for Summer to end. The weather is much like Singapore here, just that the wind that attacks us are cooler than in Singapore.

Did we mention our everlasting love for the shop called "Tomato" ?
It's like the best shop ever, and it's just right outside the school, on the same side.

The rice is just super filling and a meal hardly costs more than 5000Won (SGD$6.20). It's expensive but that's all we can order. Otherwise, we'll be eating onigiri (800Won, SGD$1) and kimbap (1500Won, SGD$2) from the convenience store everyday.

Its time for us to pick up our clothes again so here are some more photos of our classrooms to share with you!

All the student's name in Korean!

We found this dog cafe where they had white puppies! THEY WERE SO SMALL!

Just right outside of our school, on the right. Can you spot the pizza shop?

A flower we saw while we were walking home from the supermarket. They're blooming so beautifully.

We're slowly getting used to our teacher's teaching style and found their education system very interesting.
Classes here are very open to opinions and our own ideas. It could be possibly due to us selecting more business modules than I.T. modules. It is really very interesting to view different discussions from foreign students from other countries as well. It's really an eye opening experience.

Alright!
We have to go now!
All the best, good luck!
